DANCE SHOES

Check out the OIDA Handbook for all the info on where and when to get dance shoes. Reminder that beginner dancers start in the black slip-on shoes (no ties), intermediate dancers can add the lace-up light shoes if they like (and as long as they can tie their own shoes), and advanced dancers can add the Irish heavy shoes. All dancers learn light and heavy shoe movements and technique from their very first class, but the actual shoes you wear change as you progress.

WHEN IS OIDA CLOSED?

Check out the OIDA Handbook for a look at when we're closed this year.

MUSIC TO PRACTICE TO

At OIDA, we don't require that our students practice outside of class, but some like to! We maintain playlists on Spotify and Youtube of all the music your dancer might need, and those links are available in the OIDA Handbook.

RECITAL INFO

We hold a Recital each year in June for current students. All Recital info is emailed out, not available publicly on the website/handbook/social media, so check your email for all the Recital details!
